Homeschooling through the holidays doesn’t have to be hard

Hey Reader,

Halloween opens what I call our Homeschool Through The Holidays season, and this is where the Busy Bees Holiday Hub can help.

You want meaningful time with your kids.

You want interesting things to explore together and an education that fits your family.

Finding and preparing those experiences can take more energy than you have available, especially as the calendar fills up.

The Hub gives you ready-to-use holiday and seasonal learning experiences to choose from.

There are hands-on activities, games, stories, and other ways to explore a topic.

That variety gives your kids different places to begin and gives you a starting point you don’t have to build from scratch.

Here’s a useful way to approach any collection of resources: begin with the kind of experience your family would enjoy together.

  • A game might suit a day when everyone wants company.
  • A story can give you something interesting to talk about.
  • A hands-on activity can make room for kids who like to figure things out while they work.

You can use the part that fits and see where it leads.

If a question catches someone’s interest, there’s room to follow it.

If you enjoy the activity and move on, that experience still has value.

Choosing one resource doesn’t commit you to completing everything around it.

Having options means you can choose for the day and the people in front of you.

If homeschooling has felt a little stale, a different topic or format may give you a useful opening. If your kids are happily engaged, the Hub can help you keep interesting experiences available as the season gets busier.

You can build on the things you already know about your family. That’s a lovely place to begin this next season.

I’d love to welcome you into the Busy Bees Holiday Hub.

If you want less time spent hunting for ideas and more time exploring with your kids, take a look and see how it can fit your homeschool.
